LPI: Where do you have offers from and what other schools have shown serious interest in you or may be close to offering?
TB: I currently have offers from Indiana State, Youngstown State, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois, and Fordham. I have also been in contact with Northern Illinois, Kansas State, Princeton, and Brown.
LPI: Do you have any visits coming up? If so, where at and when?
TB: I just visited Youngstown State yesterday and really enjoyed it. I will definitely head out to Fordham at some point, just have to find a date.
LPI: Who do you model your game after and why?
TB: If I had to model my game after someone I would say Hunter Henry. I believe that we both are good blockers in space and on the LOS. We both may not get a ton of targets nor receiving yards but we’re able to bring in most balls that are thrown our way.
LPI: Do you play any other sports in the offseason or do you play 7on7?
TB: In the past I played basketball and baseball in the offseason but I am not doing those this year nor 7 on 7. I planned to hit the weight room hard and put on 20 LBs (still have 5 to go).
LPI: Not counting any teammates, who is the best player that you have gone against in your high school career?
TB: The best player I have gone against in high school thus far is Devin O’Rourke. I lined up against him my sophomore season. He was huge and a phenomenal player.
LPI: What have you been doing to take your game to the next level?
TB: I have been hitting the weights hard and am gaining weight to get to 240 LBs. I have been working on a lot of footwork and route running as well.
LPI: At what point did you realize you had what it takes to play college ball?
TB: Playing college football has always been a dream of mine and a self expectation. From the first day I ever strapped up the pads I believed that I could and I feel blessed to be able to.
LPI: Who on your team has what it takes to play college ball, but are currently being under recruited?
TB:
Jake Lynch – An athlete with great speed and great hands. He can make good things happen with the ball in his hands. Lynch can play WR or DB.
Sonny Ducato – Is a quick OLB who plays hard and fearless. Crafty in finding ways into the backfield for TFLs.
Dmauryon Hunter – Overlooked because of his size but has a higher motor than anyone on the field. He hits hard and will take it to anyone on the field.
