LPI: What schools have shown serious interest in you or may be close to offering?
JBW: Some schools that have shown interest in me are Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, Central Michigan, Northwestern, Iowa State. I’m not sure if they’re close to offering yet, but they have shown some interest.
LPI: What are your greatest strengths on and off the field? Or why should a school offer you?
JBW: My strengths on the field is my aggressive strike along with my quick get off, my speed and athleticism. I also have a good IQ and awareness on the field I’m always watching my opponent studying his moves the way he gets off the ball and looking and waiting for him to take a play off to take advantage him. My motor is also a strength I never stop until the whistle is blown I always work hard never take plays off.
LPI: Do you play any other sports in the offseason?
JBW: I usually play basketball in the offseason and have playing since I was eight. This year I wanted to focus more on developing my skills and time in the weight room.
LPI: At what point did you realize you had what it takes to play college ball?
JBW: I felt like I could always play college ball but I knew at a young age that it would take much more than words to play college football. I knew it would take hard work on field and in the classroom to play high level college football.
LPI: Not counting any teammates, who is the best player that you have gone against in your high school career?
JBW: The best player I’ve one against in my high school career would be Armoni Dixon. He’s fast off the edge and has a strong rush. I thought it was a good head to head competition between the both us he was hands down the best player I’ve played against thus far.
LPI: Who on your team has what it takes to play college ball, but are currently being under recruited?
JBW:
Deontay Bell – Explosive athletic player who can make plays with his feet. Has a combination of speed, power, and elusiveness to make people miss in the open field.
Dagen Miller – Young player who has lots a talent and potential who works hard and does his job day in and day out.
Robert Brazziel – A young QB who has a cannon. He also has accuracy to go with it.
