LPI: What offers do you have and what schools have shown serious interest in you or may be close to offering?
JP: The schools that have offered me are Kansas, Southern Mississippi, and Georgetown. Some schools that have shown serious interests are Northern Illinois, Ball State, Illinois State, Eastern Illinois, Indiana State, North Dakota, Arkansas State, and Memphis.
LPI: Have you visited anywhere recently or do you have any planned visits coming up? If so, where at and when?
JP: I have visited NIU and Northwestern. I plan on visiting Georgetown, Kansas, Southern Mississippi, Illinois, Illinois State, Purdue along with others.
LPI: What should college coaches that recruit you know about you whether it be on or off the field?
JP: College Coaches should know that I work hard and that I’m extremely competitive. I’m an enthusiastic and hard working student athlete. I use my intelligence on and off the field. I take my school work very serious which is paying off and reflects in my 3.70 GPA. Also, I’m a very good leader in school and in football.
LPI: Who do you model your game after and why?
JP: I model my game after Odell Beckham Jr. and DeSean Jackson. I model after them because they are both fast and very quick on their feet with the run after catch. Also, they create separation between them and the DB’s. They both have charisma and give back to the community which is something that I strongly believe in.
LPI: What do you want your major to be in college?
JP: I want to major in Computer Science.
LPI: What is your dream school?
JP: My dream school is Louisiana State University. I have desired to attend this school since a young age.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
JP:
Donald Dillon – He can tackle very well in the open. Also he is versatile and he can play any position in the back four. He is a fast, strong explosive football player.
Mikhel Mcmullan – He is a big guy with great feet. He is also very athletic to be 6’4 300 lbs.
Deshun Britten – He has great potential and can run great routes and create mismatches, I would love to see him play at the next level.
Kobie Jamison – He is a very fast and quick and has for sure hands and his routes are great. He can also play anything in the back four. He is just an athlete he can all positions.
