LPI: What schools do you hold offers from and what other schools have shown serious interest or may be close to offering?
QN: I officially have 5 offers from Illinois, Toledo, Michigan State, Boston College, and Western Michigan but I’ve gain lots of interest from every big ten school, Cincinnati, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa State, and many more.
LPI: Have you visited anywhere recently or do you have any planned visits coming up? If so, where at and when?
QN: This fall I’ve been to Northwestern, South Florida, Notre Dame, and Michigan State. The only one I have planned is Iowa State on November 17th against Texas.
LPI: What should college coaches that recruit you know about you whether it be on or off the field?
QN: Coaches should know that I’m a very competitive person when it comes to football. In the classroom I treat my classes like sports, I work hard to succeed on tests/homework and I compete to achieve.
LPI: What do you want your major to be in college?
QN: I want to major in communications, Journalism, and media broadcasting which would help me become a sports commentator.
LPI: What are your individual and team goals for the rest of this season?
QN: To begin, we look forward to bringing November football to Evanston and making a great run in the playoffs. Personally, I look forward to helping my team win whether it’s maximizing my carries, putting me out at slot, or even minimizing my carries and splitting them with Cion Miller-Smith or Sabastian Cheeks.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
QN: I believe Evanston’s whole defense is able to play D1 ball, including Trenton Bertrend whose unfortunately out for the season due to a broken elbow, and Shawn Johnson who is highly slept on. Offensively, I believe Malik Ross, Egan Schliesmann, Sawyer Brown, and two sophomore starters Connor Groff and Zachary Myers. They mainly are overlooked because of their size but I know they have what it takes.
