LPI: First off, the question on everyone’s mind: Is it going to be football, track or both for you in college?
MM: I love competing in both sports and would like to try and do both at the next level.
LPI: What schools have shown serious interest in you for football or might be close to offering?
MM: I have talked to Michigan, Kentucky, Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota, Duke and a couple of others schools. Honestly I’m not sure if any of those schools are close to offering at the moment, but I look forward to continuing the recruiting process with the schools.
LPI: Do you have any planned visits coming up? If so, where at and when?
MM: I have visited Kentucky and Michigan already, but I plan to catch a game and visit each of those schools again I also have an Oregon Visit planned on September 22nd. I hope that I can visit a couple of other schools this year as well.
LPI: I’m sure you have every game circled on your calendar, but what game are you looking forward to most this season?
MM: I always look forward to playing the Oswego Panthers. They are always a tough team and one of our schools big time rivals. The game should be a battle and a great game to compete in and watch.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
MM: Some of my teammmates who are highly overlooked are Eben Heine, Jaylon Tillman, Uchenna Udeogu they are all in the class of 2020.
Eben Heine – Is a QB/ATH. He is very versatile an is an all around just good football player. He can do just about anything from kicking to catching to throwing to even a little bit of DB. He has heart for days and will do anything for the team.
Jaylon Tillman – A great athlete who is 6’l”, great hands and one of our better route runners on the team, very talented but also blocks and plays DB as well.
Uchenna Udeogu – Is overlooked by a lot of people but one of our best defensive tackles. He has a high motor very quick of the ball and just has a knack for the game. I believe all three of these guys are very explosive and can compete at the next level.
