LPI: Did you play any other sports in the offseason or 7on7?

CG: Yes I had been a 3 sport athlete most of my life but didn’t play basketball my junior year to focus on lifting and my speed, but I still played baseball in the spring. And my high school team played in 2 7v7 tournaments this summer.

LPI: Have you visited anywhere recently or do you have any planned visits coming up? If so, where at and when?

CG: I haven’t made many visits since spring when I went to Western Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa but I did visit Winona State this summer. I attended some camps this summer including the North Central showcases, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois State. I don’t have any visit for sure scheduled but I do plan on making some game day visits

LPI: Where do you have offers from and what schools that haven’t offered are showing serious interest?

CG: Offered from SEMO, Tennessee Chattanooga, and Winona State. And Iowa has shown some good interest in me along with Minnesota. Illinois State has shown interest as well, but there are also other schools showing some interest. I’m just gonna play my season with my team and hopefully draw some more attention.

LPI: What do you want to major in college?

CG: I haven’t thought a lot about it but one thing I have interest in is finance.

LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?

CG: Two of my best friends Luke Olson and Drew Ackman. They have gotten college interest but I think these two definitely can play at the next level. They both have a great motor and excellent work ethic. All of us push each to be the best we can, and these two are definitely players to keep an eye on.
