LPI: You currently hold offers from South Dakota and Southern Illinois. What other schools have shown serious interest in you or may be close to offering?
MM: I’ve been in contact with Kent State, Western Michigan, Missouri State, Nebraska, Illinois State, and Iowa.
LPI: Have you visited anywhere recently or do you have any planned visits coming up? If so, where at and when?
MM: I’ve visited Illinois State, Western Michigan, and Iowa. I also plan on going to a spring Practice soon to Illinois State and Central Michigan’s spring game.
LPI: What should college coaches that recruit you know about you whether it be on or off the field?
MM: College coaches should know that I have a great personality and how goofy I am. But when it comes down to business I know what needs to be done in any situation there is.
LPI: What was it like getting your first offer? How did that make you feel?
MM: Getting my first offer was very special, it was a sentimental moment to my family because we’ve been working for this goal ever since I was the age of 6. It felt like Christmas morning opening presents. I really loved it a lot.
LPI: What do you want your major to be in college?
MM: The major I’m going for is sports marketing. I’m really interested in sports marketing because I feel like I can promote and advertise sports and events.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
MM: There are plenty of my teammates that can play at the next level…
Rad Premovic – He’s very talented and useful in many ways. His IQ for the game is high, last year we needed him to step up and he stepped up to the challenge and led us to the state semifinal game. Rad has what it takes to play at the next level because of his knowledge of the game.
Kyle Davis – Kyle is a freak of nature, he’s probably one of the fastest and most explosive running backs in Illinois. Kyle started the whole season leading the team in rushing yards and yards after contact. Kyle is going to a powerhouse school I believe in my eyes with his explosiveness out of the hole.
Eddie McGee – Eddie is a hell of an athlete, he is definitely getting overlooked by colleges. His work ethic and his IQ for the game is way above average. Without a doubt he’s the best corner in the state. Eddie has proven what it takes to play at the next level.
Koron Walker – Koron is a very smart player, he plays anchor for us and he’s the brains of the defense. I see Koron playing somewhere in the Ivy League because how smart and talented he is
Matt Lenti – Matt played both sides of the ball last year and did a hell of a job. Watch out for him.
