LPI: You have offers from Central Michigan and Seton Hill. Besides those schools what other programs have shown interest in you?
CC: I just recently picked up an offer from Eastern Kentucky. I’ve also been in contact with The University of Illinois, Illinois State, Western Michigan, University of Cincinnati , Ohio University, Kent State and The University of Wyoming.
LPI: Do you have any planned visits set or have you visited anywhere recently? If so, where at and when?
CC: I recently visited Ball State, Central Michigan, Illinois State and The University of Illinois. All were great visits and I look forward to getting back to those schools soon. In March I have scheduled visits at Kent State, University of Cincinnati and Western Michigan.
LPI: What’s it like playing with BOOM 7on7? How do you think that improves your game?
CC: I love playing with BOOM and I’m excited about this season. All of my teammates at BOOM are great athletes and have what it takes to play at the next level. We help each other become better by competing weekly in practice. The coaches are definitely teachers of the game and they are really involved with helping us with every detail of our craft. Playing with BOOM also gives me a chance to compete against some of the top athletes in the country.
LPI: What do you want to major in in college?
CC:I love to write so right now I’m leaning towards journalism.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
CC: My teammates I believe can play at the next level but have gone overlooked: Nick Lindley, Cam Mattox, Juabarey Anderson and Andre Smith. They all have the work ethic and are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed on and off the field.
