LPI: You’re going into your senior season, do you consider yourself a leader on your team? If so, how do you set an example for your teammates on and off the field?

BS: Yes, I do consider myself a leader of our team. I try to set a good example for my teammates by hustling and staying positive during practice and I also push my teammates to get into the weight room as much as they can as I try to do the same.

LPI: What have you been doing to take your game to the next level this offseason? Also, how do you think playing on Midwest BOOM elevates your game?

BS: This offseason, I have been training with Acceleration Sports Performance in Naperville, IL as well as lifting at my school in order to improve my strength, speed, quickness, etc… which will help increase my performance on the field. Playing with Midwest BOOM has helped me improve tremendously over the past 4 years and it’s because BOOM has provided me with a chance to compete against the top talent all over the country and get the best coaching any high school athlete could get.

LPI: You currently have one offer from D2 Seton Hill. What other programs have shown interest in you?

BS: UW Platteville, Yale, Harvard, MSU Moorhead, Columbia, UPENN, Williams, Middlebury, Holy Cross and Dartmouth.

LPI: What’s next for you? Do you have any upcoming visits planned?

BS: I will be visiting UW Platteville soon. My plan is to follow my offseason training regimen and get better every day. I’m working to help lead BOOM to another national championship this year and I’m getting myself ready for upcoming camps.

LPI: Who are some of your Neuqua Valley or BOOM teammates that have what it takes to play college ball, but are currently being under recruited?

BS: I honestly believe that every one of my teammates on BOOM will end up playing at the next level. As for Neuqua, I think that on the defensive side of the ball, Kyle Borske and Matt Quinn are both very talented defensive linemen with great size along with Rudy Dedeaux who has great speed at linebacker. On the offensive side of the ball, we are returning RB Will Chevalier who will be a top RB in the state next year along with a solid receiving core in Junior Kaden Smith and 2 Sophomore WR’s, Sean Larkin and Patrick Hoffman, who all possess good speed and overall athleticism. We will have 2 talented QB’s in Junior Joey Romano and Sophomore Mark Gronowski that have potential to lead the team to a great season. Jake Bruner is our leader on the offensive line and will be our foundation on offense next season.
