Isaiah Morrison
Wt: 173 lbs
Class: 2018
LPI: What are you going to do to take your game to the next level this offseason? Are you playing 7on7 or are you playing any other sports?
IM: I currently have a speed trainer that I go to 3 days a week to work on my 40 time. I also am playing on the HEROH 7on7 team.
LPI: You currently don’t have any offers, but I believe you have what it takes to play at the next level. What skill set can you bring to the table for a college football program?
IM: I am a great leader on and off the field. I am a VERY versatile player. ANYTHING you want me to play, I’ll play it. I play with passion and always play with a chip on my shoulder. I may not be the biggest, but I always train and play 110%.
LPI: Which schools have shown serious interest in you?
IM: Some schools that have showed interest are North Dakota State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Howard, Missouri, Ball Sate, SEMO, UMass and Cincinnati.
LPI: Where have you visited most recently and do you have any planned visits or camps/showcases set?
IM: I’ve only visited North Dakota State, but I am planning on going to the Lake Forest, North Central, Northwestern, Penn State and Wisconsin Camp.
LPI: On or off the field, how do you demonstrate leadership or go the extra mile for your teammates?
IM: I am always the first in the weight room and always the last one out. I always push my teammates to attend practice even when they feel lazy or just want to quit period. Off the field, I am a great role model for my teammates. I always offer help if they are struggling or just need someone to study with them. I always make sure my teammates are staying out of trouble in and out of school.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
IM:
Messiah Travis – Has great size and great speed. A versatile player who loves to play the game.
Carlton Rutherford – A great kid. Has a 3.52 GPA and a 24 ACT score. A 6’1″ 185lb ATH who plays the game with A LOT of heart. He has great speed and strength. 2018 Sleeper!
