LPI: What are you going to do to take your game to the next level this offseason? Are you playing 7on7 or are you playing any other sports?
JP: I am currently playing for Midwest BOOM. They have help me a lot in terms of taking my game to the next level. They have a great coaching staff who have made me a better football player. The weight room has also made me a better athlete and I’m finally starting to see the gains.
LPI: You currently don’t have any offers, but I believe you have what it takes to play at the next level. What skill set can you bring to the table for a college football program?
JP: I am a fast, explosive all around athlete with phenomenal footwork. I always find a way to win. Whether it’s a rep in practice, or every single play on the field in a game.
LPI: Which schools have shown serious interest in you?
JP: Miami of Ohio, Illinois State, North Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Fordham and Wyoming. Hoping to get some more after my results in The Opening.
LPI: Where have you visited most recently and do you have any planned visits or camps/showcases set?
JP: I visited Miami of Ohio and I visited Illinois state twice. I have plans to visit Southern Illinois and North Dakota State this month. I also plan to participate in the Lemming Prep Insider Showcase as well as the rivals camp this spring and several summer camps such as Illinois state, Central Michigan, Toledo and NDSU.
LPI: On or off the field, how do you demonstrate leadership or go the extra mile for your teammates?
JP: I demonstrate hard work and lead by example in the weight room. I also try to keep everyone humble because we always have something to prove upon.
LPI: Who are some of your teammates or training partners that you believe can play at the next level, but have gone overlooked by college coaches?
JP:
Anthony Vespo – He has a strong arm, throws the ball with accuracy down field. Could be dangerous at the next level when given time in the pocket.
Marshaun Brown – Has ideal size and length at the safety spot. He is a physical cover guy with nice hips and good feet. Sat out games due to a injury but will bounce back and have a great senior year. He needs his name out there!
Quentin Pringle – Yes, he is my little brother, but he has great size and speed and vision in the backfield at the running back spot. He is in the young class of 2019 and will be the starting running back carrying the ball for Bolingbrook next season.
Chris Conley – Has great size at the safety spot but spent time at corner and may spend time at linebacker this coming season. That goes to show how versatile he is.
Brandon Walters – An all around athlete. Outstanding cuts and really shifty on the outside. Last season he lined up in the slot and in the backfield and performed really well. The 6’0″ ATH will be another player to look out for.
Mark Brown – Sat out the season due to injury, but is a very skilled athlete. He plays the Linebacker spot, but has the speed of a DB and the strength of a D-Lineman with very good college ready size.
