LPI: The Purple Raiders finished well at 5-4 with their first winning record since 2013. Now that the season is over, what are you going to do to take your game to the next level this offseason?
CL: Train and learn as much as possible for the next level. Work with the coach as much as I can. As well as getting into the weight room and getting my weight up.
LPI: You currently do not have any offers, but I believe you definitely have what it takes to play college ball. What skill set can you bring to the table for a college football program?
CL: With the coaches I have met with they like to go with no huddle type offense, which I like. I believe I can help bring a lot of up tempo to get the team nice and ready before and during practice and games!
LPI: What schools have you been in touch with recently and do you have any planned visits coming up?
CL: I have been in touch with a few school in the Illinois area. With the Schools I feel like I would feel comfortable at I plan doing visits in January and February.
LPI: On and off the field, how do you demonstrate leadership?
CL: Helping anyone that wants seeking help of any kind. No matter if it’s on the field or off.
LPI: Tell me about some of your teammates that can play at the next level, but you think are getting overlooked by college coaches.
CL: I believe that everyone on my team can play in the next level. No matter if it D1 to D3. They all have one common goal “Work Hard and Play Hard!” None of my teammates will back down from a challenge. For us the Harder the team is better we get!
